Introduction

We are pleased to welcome you on our website devoted to the Training Seminar “Universities and Lifelong Learning: Opening Up for the Knowledge Society”

Vienna, 25th-26th March 2008.

 This Seminar is being organized in the framework of the Information Project on HE Reform II, and funded by the European Commission trough the Lifelong Learning Programme.

The aim of this event is to assist National Bologna Experts on the implementation of HE Reforms through materials and case studies.

The conference will be hosted by the University of Vienna (UoV), which is located in the centre of the city. Participants will be able to take part in a seminar with a first rate programme and also experience first-hand the cultural attractions of Vienna.

The Conference venue can be easily reached by public transport from Vienna International Airport, which provides direct flights to all over Europe. Vienna’s most impressive sights are within walking distance from the UoV.
